Florence has nearly thirty years experience in the not-for-profit sector including twenty years in fund development. She has held development positions and consulted with organizations in nine cities on both U.S. coasts. She served as Executive Director at two European satellite centers for a U.S. based international organization serving military personnel and their families.

With a depth and scope of a myriad of experiences, Florence has designed and launched broad-based comprehensive annual fund programs based on her strategic development plans. Her fund development efforts have resulted in raising millions of dollars for agencies and organizations.

She has five years of full-time experience in planning, programming, and launching special events in addition to events she designed and conducted during her fund development years. Florence has single-handedly managed a significant number of events throughout her career.

Her consulting business is focused on helping the modest-sized agency or organization, particularly in rural areas, with their fund development needs including researching and writing for grants and proposals; creating fund development plans; designing and launching annual campaigns, capital projects and major gift programs; stewardship and cultivation programs for current and prospective donors; and corporate and business sponsorships and alliances.

Florence holds a Certificate in Fundraising, Certificate in Grants Management, and a Bachelor of Science degree. She is a fund development consultant residing in Somerset, Pennsylvania.
